Building Equity-Centered Knowledge and Skills
We provide numerous educational and professional development opportunities for:
- Adults interested in entering the healthcare workforce as community health workers (CHWs)
- Students pursuing a degree in a health-related field
- Public health professionals
- Researchers interested in health equity
- Health care practitioners or administrators
We fill a critical gap in the training of public health and health care professionals, preparing them to better serve populations who have been marginalized and to utilize evidence-based best practices. Our programs focus on population health issues such as health equity and social determinants of health, as well as public health research.
