REBECCA METRICK

Professional Summary

Becca (she/her) joined SUHI in 2021 and now serves as  a Senior Evaluator on the Health Equity Research and Evaluation team.  Becca leads community health projects and evaluations with a focus on maternal and child health, community health assessments, and violence prevention. Her background spans qualitative and quantitative research, health education, and program management.

Prior to joining SUHI, Becca managed health education programs at the Jewish United Fund, where she oversaw the development, piloting and national release of an educational toolkit on genetic health risks and genetic screening. Her earlier research experience includes analyzing mixed-methods data on group prenatal care, designing and conducting a qualitative study on job training for previously incarcerated and low-income women, and designing an evaluation of a behavioral intervention for diabetes.
