| Norma Lazo joined SUHI in 2023 as a bilingual Community Health Worker II where she works on the Gilead Sciences, Inc. funded FOCUS Breast Cancer Screening and Linkage to Care Pilot Program. Prior to joining SUHI, she worked as a project coordinator for Resolution Studios, a production company, attending to clients and assisting the project manager.
Norma was raised in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago and volunteered with the Pilsen Community Alliance, helping families in need. She also worked at a women’s health clinic and in customer service. |
