| Lizbeth Garcia joined SUHI in 2023 and now serves as a Senior Research Specialist for the Health Equity Research and Evaluation strategy. Lizbeth supports several projects aimed at advancing health equity through mixed method and participatory approaches, focusing on evaluating health programs and systems of care. Her work spans a range of issues including diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, maternal and child health, and domestic violence. Prior to joining SUHI, Lizbeth held research positions contributing to clinical research at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and translational research initiatives at Robert H. Lurie’s Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. She is passionate about culturally responsive, community-driven research that promotes equitable access to care in underserved communities. |
