Professional Summary
Jackie Jacobs joined SUHI in 2017 and now serves as the Director of Evaluation. She co-directs SUHI’s Health Equity Research and Evaluation strategy, which implements best practices to assess the effectiveness of health programs and systems of care and empower community-based organizations through evaluation capacity-building and technical assistance. Jackie brings more than 15 years of experience conducting mixed-methods evaluations with a focus on implementation science, developmental evaluation, and community-driven methods. Her work spans chronic disease, behavioral health, violence prevention, and vaccine equity. She has experience leading clinical trials, health services research, neighborhood-level, and managing multi-disciplinary partnerships to advance health equity. She has served as principal investigator on multiple grants from national and local funders, advancing research that centers community. Prior to her work at SUHI, Jackie was a Senior Epidemiologist/Evaluator at the Maryland Department of Health, Center for Prevention and Health Promotion Administration. |
