Daisy Uribe joined SUHI in 2024 as a bilingual Behavioral Health Community Health Worker II, assisting community members to gain access to health services and resources through education and outreach.
Prior to joining SUHI, Daisy worked as a certified pharmacy technician and was an administrative assistant for her family’s business for over ten years. Earning her one-year graduate certificate in public health has empowered her to positively impact underserved communities by implementing programs that assist diverse populations. Being part of SUHI gives her the opportunity to outreach to patients with various health conditions, advocate for their needs, and help connect them to culturally appropriate healthcare resources. She plans to finish her last year of a master’s in public health at Northeastern Illinois University. |
