| Ana Melgoza joined SUHI in 2024 as a bilingual Career Coach on the Community Workforce Development team. Ana has 10 years of experience working in healthcare settings and understands the importance of creating additional education and employment opportunities, including more career pathways, for underserved communities.
Prior to joining SUHI Ana coordinated a variety of health and community programs, ranging from nutrition and diabetes prevention to programs that helped reduce health inequities among the Hispanic/Latinx community by addressing social determinants of health during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a community health worker in her heart, Ana understands the need for providing culturally appropriate health education and information to help patients receive the care and resources necessary to thrive as individuals. |
